In Singapore, approximately 30-40% of the workforce is made up of foreigners. The SGWorkPass mobile app (https://www.mom.gov.sg/eservices/sgworkpass) is designed for work pass holders to scan the QR code of their work pass cards and access their identity information. Initially serving as a companion app to physical work pass cards, SGWorkPass is undergoing a transformation into a digital work pass for work pass holders. This transition will enable work pass holders to conduct transactions directly with the government, seek assistance, and verify their identity using the digital work pass.
